About this Episode

With the recent unveiling of the clergy members who were credibly accused of the sexual abuse of a minor, we believe that this is one of the most important topics we could talk about this week. With victims, families, and the church in need of healing, we are very lucky to have guest host Allen Hebert on the podcast. Allen is a survivor of clerical sexual abuse but desires for healing to take place with all victims of abuse, their families, and the church (both the laity and the leaders). Please listen this week as Allen shares his story with us.

We would like to give a special thank you to Allen Hebert for coming on the show this week and sharing his story with us. If you would like to get into contact with him you can email him at [email protected] or [email protected].

yourholyfmaily.org: Their "ministry is [an] attempt to “be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope” (1 Peter 3:15) and to not only provide other families some practical advice on how to live out holiness within their families, but to equip them to spread this good news too."

abuseoftrust.org: A website for his upcoming book "Abuse of Trust: Healing from Clerical Sexual Abuse", "This book seeks to provide healing for the victims, the family and the Church (both the community of believers and our leaders). We seek to rally the faithful to unite against this evil and rid our church of it. United we stand, divided we fall."
